Slamming the BJP-led government in the wake of allegations on Rafale deal, Congress president Rahul Gandhi said the country's 'chowkidar' has grabbed away money from the poor and handed it over to industrialist Anil Ambani.
Rahul Gandhi sought to know answers on why Rafale price was not disclosed in public and how Anil Ambani had gotten the contract. Addressing a meeting in Jais area under his constituency of Amethi in Uttar Pradesh, the Congress president alleged, "The chowkidar has taken Rs. 20,000 crore from the pockets of the poor, martyrs and jawans only to serve the interests of Ambani".
Stating that Prime Minister Narendra Modi give speeches but not answers, Rahul said that the PM could not look into his eyes during a debate in Parliament on Rafale deal. "He doesn't have the courage to reply my question," he said.
