In wake of the ongoing election campaign, the war between Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah and Indian prime minister Narendra Modi has turned ugly. The Karnataka CM has sent a legal notice to PM Modi for the latter's controversial "10 per cent government and Seedha Rupaiya Sarkar" remark on Siddaramaiah's government.
In a 6-page legal notice, Siddaramaiah demanded a public apology from Narendra Modi, BJP President Amit Shah and Karnataka BJP's chief ministerial candidate BS Yeddyurappa over Modi's comments on Karnataka government.
Siddaramaiah also threatened to sue the BJP and Modi if the PM fails to apologize. Meanwhile, the Congress party has threatened to file Rs 100 crore defamation suit against the three BJP head honchos.
