If industry grapevine is to be believed, Naga Shaurya's Narthanasala story was initially narrated to actor Venu Tottempudi. Director Srinivas Chakravarthy reportedly told the story to Venu and the hilarious concept had struck him. But somehow things didn't materialize and the film didn't take off then.
Srinivas subsequently made proper changes to script and made it an engaging story and suit to young heroes. That's when he has approached Naga Shaurya who has given go ahead hearing the out-and-out hilarious entertainer.
After Chalo, Shaurya decided to do a full-length entertainer and even dared to do a role with gay-shade. That's how Narthanasala happened. In fact, Shaurya has so much confidence on the story that his home production Ira Creations has bankrolled it and pumped in as high as Rs 15 Crore. The makers are planning to release the film on Aug 30 clashing with Sailaja Reddy Alludu. Let's see how audiences would receive Shaurya's gay acts.
