First Look: Aravind Swamy In ManiRatnam's Nawab

Mani Ratnam and Aravind Swami is a crazy combination. Be it Roja or Bombay or Dalapathi, the twain's collaboration is the one of most awaited film to look out for. Although their last combination Kadali didn't work out, Mani have yet again joined hands with Aravind Swamy for Nawab. The film's first look has been unleashed and Mani this time has shown Aravind Swamy in a mass avatar.

The first look poster is raw, rustic. Swamy looks terrific. The lighting and shade on Swamy's face has been beautifully captured in the poster. Thanks to cinematographer Santosh Sivan who is known for his cinematic brilliance and has a lengthy collaboration with Mani. Santosh Sivan and Mani Ratnam worked together for Dalapathi, Dil Se, Iddaru, Roja, Raavan.

While the original Tamil film is titled as Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, it is christened as Nawab in Telugu. This is seventh collaboration of Mani Ratnam and Santosh Sivan. Santosh's last Telugu film Spyder was a disappointment.

As usual, AR Rahman is scoring music for Nawab as well. The film's cast includes Simbhu, Arun Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi, Aditi Rao Hydari, Jyothika, Aishwarya besides others. Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry has penned lyrics while Sreekar Prasad is the editor.
