PV Sindhu has settled with Silver as she lost to Carolina Marin in the final match of Badminton World Championship 2018 which is being held at at Nanjing, China. Spain's Badminton champion Carolina Marin scripted history as she scored hat-trick of gold medals.
Marin is the first woman singles player from Spain to win three gold medals at the World Champions. Marin had won the title in 2014 and 2015.
In the opening game of the finals, Sindhu did her best but Marin took over on Sindhu with her show. Marin won the first set with 21-19. In the second game, Marin has shown spectacular show and beaten Sindhu with 21-10.
Overall, this is Sindhu's fourth medal at the World Championships and this is second successive silver medal for Sindhu at the World Championships. PV Sindhu had won a silver medal in 2017 and got bronze medals in 2013 and 2014.
