It is not an exaggeration to say that many among us still miss the Rs 100 currency note and the cash crunch with Rs 2000 bank note made us miss those 100s. Now it is time, the legend 100 rupee note is changing its colors in all new look.
The Reserve Bank of India revealed that it would issue a new Rs 100 bank note shortly. The new bank note will be in lavender color and will have decorative design of Rani Ki Vav (a heritage site in Gujarat) on the back side.
The dimensions of the new 100 will be 66mm x 142 mm. RBI says that printing and supply of Rs 100 rupee will gradually increase. Along with the year of printing, this new 100 will be having a Swachh Bharat logo with slogan.
