Most Desirable: Prabhas Beats Mahesh

Prabhas has beaten Mahesh Babu in The Times 50 Most Desirable Men of 2017. While Ranveer Singh (who played Alauddin Khilji in Padmaavat) emerged as the Most Desirable Man of the 2017 by Times, Prabhas stood next to Ranveer.

Prabhas is the Second Most Desirable Man of the 2017 by beating the likes of Mahesh Babu (6), Virat Kohli (3), Hrithik Roshan (4), Siddharth Malhotra (5). Thanks to magnum opus Baahubali that gave super stardom Prabhas which helped him jump from 22nd rank in 2016 to Top second in 2017 list.

Baahubali's Bhallaladeva Rana Daggubati too featured in the top 10 list. Rana was positioned at Top 7 in the Times 50 Most Desirable Men of 2017. Another South India featured in the Top 10 is Malayalam star and Mammootty's son Dulquer Salmaan. He stood at 9th position. Varun Dhawan is at 11th place and Ranbir Kapoor is placed at 12th spot.
 
Times said that the Final 50 were decided based on online voting along with the internal jury votes.
