Just a couple of days after externing controversial film critic Mahesh Kathi, the Hyderabad Police has now externed Hindu religious guru Swami Paripoornananda from Hyderabad. The police banished the Swami from entering the city for the next 6 months for his controversial speeches against other religions in November last year.
Condemning Mahesh Kathi's outrageous comments on the Ramayana and Lord Shri Ram, the Swami announced a walkathon in the city. Fearing communal disharmony and law and order issue, the Hyderabad Police kept Paripoornananda under house arrest at his Jubilee Hills residence for the last 2 days.
The cops took Paripoornananda into their custody at 3: 30 am in the morning. They later shifted him to an undisclosed location amidst secrecy to avoid media and public glare. The Swami is allegedly sent back to his Sri Peetam in Kakinada.
