Freedom Over Fear: Protests Start In the US

The lockdown patience in many parts of the US has reached the saturation point, as the people, mainly the small business owners vent out their frustration in the form of protests on roads. Many people from both red and blue states have come upon streets ignoring the social distancing and other coronavirus-prevention measures.

The people drove up on roads honking with their vehicles in Maryland, Denver, and Annapolis while the health workers oppose them by standing on roads blocking the formers' way. The signboards by the protestors meant that they are ready to bear the consequences of they get sick, but can't keep the businesses close for days more.

The people at protest appear worried as they already are a huge loss with their businesses closed and many others wanted the stay-at-home lifted completely. Protests erupted in states of Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, North Carolina, Utah, Washington, Colorado, and Minnesota in the last few days.

The Republican Governor of Maryland Larry Hogan said he understands the frustration and they are doing everything possible to reopen in a safe manner. Meanwhile, many more protests are expected in the coming few days.
