Italy: 9134 Deaths, Record High 919 On Friday

Nessuna pieta is what they call 'no mercy' in Italian. Coronavirus is not showing it on the country yet, as the death toll has gone to 9134 since the outbreak began. With 919 deaths on Friday, Italy records the highest single-day deaths by any country due to coronavirus. On Saturday, the number of deaths recorded was 793.

The total number of coronavirus cases in Italy was recorded as 86,500 as on Friday. The first coronavirus case in Italy was found in January last week and with the increase in a number of cases every day, the officials fell short of medical equipment, hospital beds, and even staff, as they to have got infected in large numbers lately.

Italians have been urging the people of other countries to observe social distancing and lockdown measures, as they were facing the consequences for ignoring the same.

On the other side, the US coronavirus cases have gone to be the country with the highest number of coronavirus cases 101,000 by late Friday and with deaths more than 1500.
