Well, while the police department should be appreciated for enforcing the lockdown quite strictly across India, there are sprouted incidents where police personnel are behaving rather brutally. By lathi charging even innocents and those who are in the service of the society, it has come out clear that Police force hasn't heard the instructions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi properly.

Despite the fact that PM Modi made it clear that e-tailers will be allowed to deliver groceries, food and medicine to people, police seem to have got no clue about it. While some police went and shutdown warehouses of these food delivery giants, some actually beaten up the delivery boys. Apps like Grofer, Big Basket and MilkBasket, which serve in top cities like Gurgaon, Noida and Hyderabad have all gone mute due to these actions of the police.

In a message to customers, grocery and milk delivery website MilkBasket mentioned that the actions of the police have tied their hands as they cannot deliver to customers. They stated that 15,000 litres of milk and 10,000 kg of vegetables were dumped as a waste due to this and will not be able to deliver on Day 2 of lockdown as well.

However, a while ago, Telangana DGP has tweeted that all the officers of Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Rachakonda have been directed that the delivery services Grofers, Milkbasket, Big Basket, Zomato, Swiggy, Ubereats, Spencers etc shall be allowed to operate their services from 6AM to 6PM.
