Home Under Quarantine - DO NOT VISIT

All these days, the governments have made sure that they will rightly and smoothly advise the foreign returned folks to stay at home. In places like Maharashtra, they have started stamping on the back of hand such that those people will not leave houses and others will catch them.

And now, with some folks not heeding to such crucial suggestions, Andhra Pradesh government is openly pasting the stickers on the houses of people who are tested positive, are who are advised to be under quarantine after returning from abroad. In a small town like Eluru (West Godavari), we hear that nearly 15-20 persons are advised to stay at home, and the Municipality authorities have pasted stickers on the walls of their houses.

"Home Under Quarantine - Do not Visit" is what the sticker clearly says and after the quarantine period gets over, the authorities will check those people again for any likely development of the virus, and if diagnosed negative, the stickers will be gone. While that's a good thing to do, people inside the house are said to be getting depressed and facing the social stigma later.

So far there are 6 tested-positive cases of COVID-19 in Andhra Pradesh and the state went into total lockdown mode from Monday (23 March).
