Currency Notes Can Bring Coronavirus!

Beware guys, currency notes can also bring Corona virus. Currency notes, which are usually exchanged from one to another, could be the source of transmission of Covid-19. As the Corona pandemic increase across the globe, including India, and the total number of Covid-19 cases in the country rose to 126, the government and media is stressing people to be extra conscious.

Health experts too aver that currency notes are the source of several bacteria and viruses. As the notes became hotbed for several microbes, one needs to be cautious. What's more? Many Indians have a habit of counting the currency notes through their saliva by using one's index finger. One collects the spit from the tongue via index finger and thus counts the every note. This is a weird and peculiar habit of many in our country. Health experts are advising to avoid such bad habits since it could lead to transfer of bacteria and viruses from the currency notes to one's tongue.

And they further add that this kind of practice could be easiest way for Corona to spread from the infected to non-infected. Since Corona virus is expected to survive upto 3 days on surfaces and currency notes, cash-based infection can't be ruled out. It's high time, people should take necessary precautions and use sanitizers regularly before and after counting cash.
