New Zealand crush India by 10 wickets

Team India is continuing their flop show in New Zealand as they faced fourth consecutive defeat. The first Test at Basin Reserve was clinched by the BlackCaps by 10 wickets.

On day four of the second innings of team India, the batsmen could not face the swing and seam of Kiwis pacers. With overnight score of 144 runs for the loss of four wicket, India begun the day. But in just 47 runs India lost seven wickets and they gave a tiny lead of 8 eights to the New Zealand. The hosts chased the 9 runs target in just 10 deliveries.

Tim Southee is rewarded with Man of the Match award for claiming five wickets in the second innings and tearing apart India batting order.

The second Test is scheduled on February 28th at Christchurch.
