A 38-year-old Hyderabad based Prashanth Kumar Kommireddy, who used to work with American Airlines at Dallas had died on Wednesday morning after suffering a medical emergency while at his workplace. Prashanth died at a hospital emergency room in spite of timely treatment. The Tarrant County medical examiner's case records confirmed his time of death and place.

It is heart-rendering to learn that late Prashanth's wife is nine months pregnant and was due for delivery on Thursday. The couple has a three-year-old daughter. This sad incident was bought to notice only when Prashanth's good friend Santosh Kumar tweeted to IT Minister KT Rama Rao. Santosh requested KTR for help to expedite the visa process for Prashanth's brother to fly to Dallas from Hyderabad.

KTR was quick to respond and tagged the United States Consulate in Hyderabad and the United States Embassy in New Delhi, requesting them to assist. Prashanth was a Btech graduate from JNTU and started working with the American Airlines from 2016. Currently, his colleagues, led by Woody Green, started an online fundraiser page, seeking financial help and it had garnered more than $200,000 so far.
