After Howdy Modi, It is now Namaste Trump

After we had 'Howdy Modi' in Texas where Modi was welcomed in Sept 2019 at a rock concert, it is now 'Namaste Trump' as a part to advertise the occasion (where President Donald Trump and Narendra Modi will share the stage at a cricket stadium) at Ahmedabad on Feb. 24. On this, the municipal corporation of Ahmedabad tweeted -'Get ready to say #NamasteTrump'.

India is expecting the American president next week and also invited people to join "#theBiggestRoadShowEver." It would be a two-day visit to India for Trump, starting Feb. 24 to boost bilateral ties. During Howdy Modi, we have witnessed more than 50,000 Indian Americans and now, for Namaste Trump, the Motera stadium is expecting 100,500. It is also the world's biggest cricket stadium and has a capacity of 1.1 lakh seating.

But since, the officials are expecting 1.5 lakh people on this coming event, more than 10000 people will be seated on the floors circling the stage. There will be heavy and multiple security steps to undergo as each individual will go through it from different entrance gates before reaching his or her seat. Also, the audience will enter the stadium three hours prior to the event and leave two hours after President and Modi leave the venue.

The event was earlier labelled as "Kem Chho Trump" and later changed to "Namaste President Trump". It is revealed that famous singers like Kailash Kher and a few Gujarati singers like Kirtidan Gadhavi, Parthiv Gohil will be performing at the stadium. The roads, streets and building have been refurbished and painted in the name of Trump's visit and the state authorities have planned is 22 km long roadshow from the airport to the Sabarmati Ashram and from there to the stadium. "Its a mega roadshow we have planned in honour of President Trump and PM Modi," Ahmedabad Municipal Commissioner Vijay Nehra told.
