Andhra man kills himself fearing Corona virus

The latest deadly coronavirus is leaving humans so scared that we have accustomed to waking up every day praying to God to not get caught by the infection. In fact, people have also become sceptical about their health and even the small flu is misconceived to the fatal coronavirus. The 54-year-old Balakrishnayya from Chittoor, who was suffering from a urinary tract infection, mistook his uneasiness with coronavirus and committed suicide.

The shocking incident left people upset and also ponder about the symptoms they have due to cold and fever. Balakrishnayya had symptoms of UTI and his family members claim that miscommunication with doctor made him believe that he was caught with this deadly virus. The words of doctor which the victim mistook were - doctors told him they was a problem in his lifestyle as his heartbeat was higher than normal.

Balakrishnayya was from Thottambedu village and he visited the Ruia Government General Hospital on Saturday for a medical consultation. "We told him that he did not have coronavirus, but he refused to let us near him. He told all the villagers to stay away," Balakrishnayya's son told reporters. He further added that Balakrishnayya had panicked immensely and started to believe he was a threat to the family and the village. "He started slinging stones at us when we tried to go near him. He said he needs to end his life immediately as he was a danger to the village. He told us not to come close and locked himself in".
