Two dead in shooting at Texas university campus

While there is a health emergency all over the world on corona virus, the United States is suffering with another virus called 'Gun culture.' In a fresh incident, two people were dead and a toddler was injured in a firing at Texas university campus.

The police are yet to identify the suspect and the motive of the shooter. The injured toddler was rushed to hospital. After this incident, the classes at Texas A&M University campus in Commerce were called for the rest of the day. The university has over 12,000 students enrolled and about 1600 students hail from India.

This is the second incident to be reported in Texas in a span of five months. The gun violence is on the rise in the United States in the recent times. For the citizens of US, the Second Amendment of the Constitution guarantees the right to bear arms. But this right is widely being misused. Many want to change this law but the debate is leading to nowhere.
