11 Lakh Tweets On #UnionBudget2020

On 1st of February, union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman has presented the union budget in the Lok Sabha. From investors to industries to stock markets, many had their eyes on Nirmala so as what she has prepared to make India a better place for ease of doing business and ease of living.

These days social media is being widely used to make their initially impression on anything and likewise, from popular public figures to common man, they used Twitter to comment on Budget 2020. From January 30th to February 1st, a total of 11 Lakh tweets got posted using the hashtag #UnionBudget2020.

Twitter India has officially acknowledged these numbers and added that “The magnitude of Twitter conversations around represent the voice of the citizens of India, who want to be updated and actively involved in discussing topics of national relevance.”

Netizens in India and across the world took to the micro blogging site to discuss, debate and react first on Union Budget 2020.

Not just tweets, memes had also poured down pro and against the budget and FM Nirmala too.
