#Metoo: 'Choreographer made me to watch porn videos'

The ace choreographer of Indian cinemas, who is prominently known for Bollywood songs and also in Telugu for Badilo Gudilo from Allu Arjun's Duvvada Jagannadham, has now fallen into trouble after a 33-year-old woman accused him of making her watch porn forcefully.

The lady, who is an assistant choreographer has written to the National Commission for Women (NCW) alleging that B-town choreographer Ganesh Acharya used to make her watch porn videos whenever she visited his office in Mumbai. She also added that two other women, namely Jayashree Kelkar and Preeti Lad along with Acharya have assaulted her during the Indian Film and Television Choreographers Association (IFTCA) event held in Andheri, Mumbai, on the last Sunday.

When news agency Press Trust of India called Acharya to learn his reaction, the choreographer did not take the calls. In her letter to the NCW, the woman not only claimed that Mr Acharya forced her to watch adult videos whenever she visited his office, but also demanded a commission from her for working in the film industry.

The Amboli police official said that Ganesh Acharya, who was elected as a general secretary of the IFTCA, used to frequently call the complainant at the office in Andheri and the lady is also a member of IFTCA. It was reported that on January 26, Ganesh screamed at her saying she was "suspended" as soon as the woman reached the IFTCA office.

The lady also claimed that the choreographer asked his team member, Jayashree Kelkar, to slap her. "Kelkar and Preeti Lad hit me in public view which was captured on the CCTV," she stated in her complaint. Police have registered a non-cognisable (NC) offence and are currently investigating.
