Comedian banned for heckling Arnab Goswami

Loud mouth journalist Arnab Goswami of Republic TV was heckled by stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra in a flight. Following this incident, the stand-up comedian was banned IndiGo airlines and also Air India.

Going into details, Kunal Kamra came across with Arnab at Mumbai airport and coincidentally both were flying to Lucknow. Kunal after seeing Arnab straightly walked towards Arnab and questioned him about Hyderabad student Rohit Vemula's episode. But Arnab wasn't interested in answering to Kunal's questions and so the former walked off.

In the flight Kunal went to Arnab's seat and expressed his anger using abusive language. Surprisingly journalist Arnab maintained his calm and did not utter a single word and more surprisingly Kunal shared the video on his social media which invited mixed response from the netizens.

The journalist fraternity supported Arnab even though they don't endorse his or Republic TV views. As the issue turned big, Kunal issued a clarification and defended himself in this whole episode.

Reacting on this midair incident, IndiGo has imposed six months suspension on Kunal Kamra and so did Air India.
