Deepika is 1st Indian to star in LV's campaign

Deepika Padukone's fan base is huge, very huge. But the recent move by her, that is, visiting JNU also gave her a few haters and dislikers. In spite of being a true global icon, Deepika has been receiving backlash from various reasons including her TikTok challenge on Malti's look. But, the actress has managed to find success in her tough period by winning crystal awards yesterday and now,  making the whole country proud with her incredible talent.

The actress has been announced the face of the iconic brand Louis Vuitton's Pre-Fall 2020 campaign along with many other bigwigs. In fact, she made history by becoming the first Bollywood actor to star in the brand's campaign. Posting the good news on Instagram, Deepika captioned, "I am beyond thrilled to be joining the Louis Vuitton family! To be a part of Nicholas Ghesquiere's vision for the world's most iconic brand is not only exciting but also very humbling!".

A french designer named Nicolas Ghesquiere alo announced the same with Deepika' picture. Nicolas is the creative director of the house of Louis Vuitton since 2013. The picture shows Deepika in a checkered black and white knee-length dress, paired with a grey overcoat and a pair of green quilted boots.

Deepika poses for the camera in front of Don't Turn Around poster, a fiction thriller by Michelle Gagnon. On the other hand, husband-actor Ranveer Singh praised her efforts by commenting, "Next level" with firecracker emoticons. Deepika is one among 24 other poster girls and boys like Sophie Turner, Lea Seydoux, Alicia Vikander, Chloe Grace Moretz for the campaign.
