Suriya Cries On Stage After Student's Speech

The kind-heart and magnanimous actor Suriya, who founded Agaram Foundation in 2006 in order to provide quality education to underprivileged children is also a philanthropist who takes care of its activities and donates money on a regular basis. The foundation has released two books namely 'Vidhiyasamdhaan Azhagu' and 'Ulagam Piranthathu Enakkaga'  which are all about life skills and a collection of stories fo children.

On the launch event, the actor got emotional and couldn't hold back his tears when a girl named Gayathri spoke on how she continued her education with the help of Agaram Foundation. The girl also spoke on hurdles that she and her family had to go through. The student went on to praise Suriya for coming as a life saviour into her life as her native village did not enourage her for higher studies.

As we know Suriya also helps farmers across Tamil Nadu and he has been doing noble cause and social works for nearly ten years. At the event, Suriya thanked volunteers, sponsors and several educational institutions, who have been actively contributing towards the cause. Both Suriya and the girl were seen crying and the actor stood up and came towards the student and hugged her affectionately.

On the work front, Suriya is all set to entertain his fans with his next release is 'Aakasam Nee Haddhu Raa', directed by Sudha Kongara.  The most-awaited trailer will be released tomorrow, on January 7.
