Bollywood Star Hero Praises South Filmmakers

Bollywood star Akshay Kumar, who is very busy with his three long-awaited flicks, Housefull4, Sooryavanshi, and Laxmi Bomb, went on to express his admiration towards South directors and actors. For his upcoming film Sooryavanshi, the whole shooting took place in Hyderabad and the actor also stayed in the city for Housefull4 promotions and interviews.

The interviewer asked how was the experience working with three gorgeous actresses- Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda and Pooja Hegde. The actor replied, 'Since all of them have worked in South films too, they seemed to be very professional. I have also worked with quite a few filmmakerss and actors from the South. I have learnt to be disciplined and punctual, especially with Priyan Sir, Shankar Sir, and Murugadoss. So, working with three heroines was easy for me,' he quoted.

When an interviewer asked a question, which role was difficult to play in his film career, he answered in Rajinikanth's 2.0. 'The look in 2.0 with Rajini sir was the hardest look ever in my 30-year-career. It took nearly three and a half hours to put it on and one and a half hours to take it off! We shot nearly three hours continuously with that make-up on.'

In his upcoming film Laxmi Bomb, Akshay is once again working with a South filmmaker, Raghava Lawrence. Laxmi Bomb is set for a release on June 5 2020. While his other two films, Sooryavanshi and Housefull4 are scheduled for March 27, 2020, and 26 October 2019, respectively.
