'I made a few bad films in my career'

Versatile actor, writer and director Srinivas Avasarala said that he is not money-minded and has worked a couple of roles for free in the past. The man who can do any role in perfection said that "My character in films should be impressive and bring me closer to viewers' heart. I'm someone who can accept any offer without stressing for remuneration. I hardly care how much producers pay me. If I cared, Ashta Chamma would not have given life to me today".

He said that he also worked for a short film recently without big remuneration. "But that doesn't mean I work for free every single time or for all offers that come my way. Because I also have financial crisis just like everyone". The actor said that "it is true that there will be sheer fun and entertainment in my films, but I have to admit that I have also done a few bad films".

"I thought Ashta Chamma would be an average hit, but it went on to become a blockbuster and vice-versa with my other films. Some of my good films became a disaster at the box office". Currently, Srinivas is also directing a film Palana Abbayi Palana Ammayi, starring Naga Shourya in the lead role. Another film Nayana Rara Intiki will go on floors soon, where Srinivas will play as a lead actor.

Srinivas Avasarala's next film, Ooranta Anukuntunnaru, is being directed by Balaji Sanala. Along with Avasarala, Naveen Vijay Krishna is also playing a lead role. Produced by Srihari Mangalampalli, Ramya Gogula and PLN Reddy, this film will release on Oct 5th.
