ISRO Chief Sivan's Reply To Interviewer Is Winning Hearts

One person who won millions of hearts with his intelligence, dignity, simplicity, and perseverance in the recent time is the ISRO chairman Dr.K.Sivan. He has been receiving huge support and encouragement from all the world for his achievement in making Chandrayaan-2 95% successful. The Vikram lander is safe up there on the Moon without getting crashed and it is indeed a big achievement for India, thanks to the ISRO and its chairman.

In his latest interview, the interviewer from Sun TV had asked Sivan, 'You are a Tamilian and having attained such a big position, what do you say to people from Tamil Nadu?' The reply from Sivan is not only impeccable but also high laudable. He answered, 'I joined ISRO as an Indian. ISRO is a place where people from all regions and languages work and contribute. But I am grateful to my brothers who celebrate me'.

It is a wonderful trait of Dr.Sivan to point out the national identity first instead of showing pride through regional identity. Netizens couldn't stop themselves from praising him as the reply has left all of us spellbound. One user on Twitter wrote, 'I am from Bihar and I am proud of Dr. Sivan like every other Indian. It doesn't affect me which state he belongs to, what religion he practices, or which language he speaks. For me, he is an honest, hard-working chairman of a world-renowned space agency. He is our national hero'.

Unfortunately, Indians still find bliss in talking about the dichotomies of South India vs North India. But, in reality, every place in India has its role and contribution towards the country to make its unity in diversity.
