We're not for sale: Greenland to Trump

The United States President Donald Trump found himself in big trouble over his private discussion. Ahead of his Copenhagen visit next month, Trump had reportedly discussed the idea of buying the world's biggest island, Greenland with his advisers.

However, Greenland especially the Denmark politicians are not convinced with the idea and are replying as harsh as they can and clearly said, 'Greenland Is Not For Sale.' Greenland, an autonomous Danish territory and depends on Denmark only for economic support. There are about 50,000 citizens on the island.

Foreign affairs spokesman for the Danish People's Party, Soren Espersen said Trump has completely mad and this idea is ridiculous. The former prime minister of Denmark Lars Lokke Rasmussen wrote in his Twitter that "It has to be an April Fool's joke. Totally out of season."

There are reasons behind Trump showing interest in buying Greenland. It's strategic location and rich mineral resources are prime aspects and along with the USA, China and Russia are also planning to take it under their control.

Few sources reveal that Trump might include Greenland as part of his agenda when he visits Copenhagen.
