#KarnatakaFloods: Crocodile Spotted On Roof-top

The unprecedented rains in Karnataka has killed 42 people and over four lakh people have been evacuated and moved to rehabilitation centers. 80 Taluks of 17 districts have severely affected by the rains and still rescue operations needed to be done at majority places.

People who are unable to escape from their homes because of water, are now taking shelters in the roof-tops of their homes. In a freaking incident a crocodile was spotted at one of the roof tops in Raybag Taluk of Belgaum district. This is posing a threat to the residents nearly while the officials are suspecting there could more amphibians in the waters.

Union home minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa had conducted an aerial survey on Sunday and announced Rs 5 lakh compensation to the deceased. The Indian Navy is taking part in the rescue operations and about 26 people were rescued from Belgaum district.
