LinkedIn Bug : Apply for Google CEO's Job

In the year 2015, Sundar Pichai hit the headlines by becoming the CEO of world's tech giant Google. In a span of four years, under Sundar's leadership, the company achieved a lot and many innovations was introduced in the tech-space. After four years, Google is said to be looking to replace Sundar now and accordingly invited applications for the CEO positions.

As soon as Google called for applications, hundreds from all over the world have applied for this position as we know it's one of the highest-paying jobs on the planet. But do you think Google is really looking for a new face as CEO. Well not really and it was a bug in professional employment-oriented service, LinkedIn that led to a huge confusion.

A security bug had let users post an official-looking job opening on any firm's LinkedIn business page and it turned up on Google. LinkedIn has identified this bug and resolved it in matter of minutes and later issued a statement on the whole episode. LinkedIn asked its user to be watchful of fraudulent job positions on the site.
