Amidst strong speculations that MS Dhoni would retire from the game soon after the World Cup 2019, nonetheless the Jharkhand Dynamtie has responded to them. Just before India's last league game against Sri Lanka on Saturday in World Cup 2019, an Indian reporter told to have confronted Dhoni to respond to the speculations about his retirement. However, Dhoni, in his own style, said to have responded that he himself doesn't know when he will retire.
"I don't know when I will retire. But a lot of people want me to retire before tomorrow's game," Dhoni was quoted as saying. Dhoni quickly added the pepole he was referring to in the above statement are not related to Indian team or management. Dhoni said it was the people in the media who keep making guesses about his retirement.
Earlier there were a lot of reports that India's last match at the World Cup could be Dhoni's swan song in India colours. But these are said to be mere rumours without any base. Captain Virat Kohli and coach Ravi Shastri have been strongly supporting Dhoni given his seniority in One Day Internationals as well as World Cup series.
