Popular YouTuber 'Ekita' Found Dead

The popular American gaming YouTuber 'Ekita' has been found dead on Tuesday, confirms the New York Police Department. His real name is Desmond Amofah and popularly known as Ekita. He became an internet sensation for playing and criticizing Nintendo games.

Initially, on June 20, the NY police Dept. registered a missing case on this 29-year-old after he went disappeared on June 19. A few days before, Ekita uplaoded a video on his channel titled 'I'm sorry' that expressed his suicidal thoughts but this eight-minute long video has now been removed. He often spoke about his mental problems. In the last video he said " Social media can give you an image of what you want your life to be and get blown completely out of proportion. It consumed me."

On June 22, Ekita's personal belongings were found near the Manhattan Bridge. In the midst of confusion and dilemma, his death new has now been confirmed, leaving his fans in utter shock.  He has more than  237,000 Instagram followers and on Twitter, YouTube posted an official statement on its creators account that -"We mourn the loss of Etika, a beloved member of our gaming creator community. All of us at YouTube are sending condolences to his loved ones and fans."

Right now, his fans are demanding the YouTube community to memorialize his original channel, which is currently offline. Also, the reason of his death is still unknown and a mystery.
