Arjun Reddy Tamil remake falling short compared to Kabir Singh

2017's Telugu blockbuster 'Arjun Reddy' is considered as a cult classic and a masterpiece in recent times. The bold attempt made by the filmmaker Sandeep Reddy gave the overall cinematic experience a long time to remember. However, the Tamil remake of the film, 'Adithya Varma', has faced many hurdles before, ending up shooting the whole movie twice. Though the filmmakers are trying for a faithful remake, the debut hero Dhruv Vikram is trying to match up the standards of Vijay Deverakonda.

But, the Tamil teasers are not flying as high as expected. Despite a great effort put twice, the film may or may not guarantee the pack of major punch. In fact, a few negative remarks are going rounds on the internet, falling short of expectations, after the second teaser was released. On the other hand, the Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy, Kabir Singh, is receiving unimaginable praises and appreciation for Shahid's look and its impact. To our surprise, Chennai is one of the top cities to have Kabir Singh's advance booking at unprecedently high numbers. Film ticket booking site Book My Show shows that Chennai is seen at a peak of highest bookings for Kabir Singh.

The South movie buffs are waiting for Kabir Singh more than for the Tamil remake and this is indeed underwhelming bow for Dhruv Vikram's team. Kabir Singh has also left Hyderabad, Bangalore and the whole North audience in the unimaginable and unprecedented state, getting all ready to smash and shatter other simultaneous releases. The craze for the film is humongous even before the release and the expectation is soaring high in confidence.
