The other day, Ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam has been hospitalized in Apollo, Chennai after he complained severe chest pain and uneasiness. It is reported that he suffered from cardiac arrest, however, his earlier acidity-related issues are also said to be one of the causes.
The news has made fans worried as earlier too, Mani Ratnam faced cardiac issues in 2004 and 2009. The director is currently busy with his next project called Ponniyin Selvan, based on a popular novel Amarar Kalki revolving around the kingdom Raja Raja Cholan. Probably the stress has also caused the director' health to deteriorate.
Today, Mani Ratnam has been discharged after a prolonged observation. He is also getting back to the office to proceed with his routine work.
