The upcoming film of Kangana Ranaut, Mental Hai Kya? is being directed by K.Raghavendra Rao's son, Prakash Kovelamudi. The film will have Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao in the lead roles and even before its release, this flick has been on news for many reasons like the protest on the change of the title (as it is insensitive towards people with mental challenges) and on the release date clashing with Hrithik Roshan's Super 30.
Now, the film has made headlines for another rumour, saying that Kangana is unhappy with a few scenes from the film and wants to reshoot those sequences where Rajkummar outshined her acting. It is said that she expressed her concern to the director Prakash, however, the director has rubbished those rumours to be untrue. The director said that they have shot the film without any issue or negativity. He also confirmed that both the actors have well-cooperated and brought their own energy to the film. He called the whole shooting as 'an incredible journey'.
Prakash said that all the rumours on the film are completely baseless and including the one, Kangana is unhappy with scenes. However, similar news arose when Kangana was shooting for Manikarnika film with director Krish. It is said that since the film went way beyond budget, Kangana decided to don the director's hat and ordered reshoots. Moreover, Kangana movies always face some controversies or drama either during the pre-release or at the promotion time. Nevertheless, the poster of Mental Hai Kya? looks very intriguing and promising.
