The legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar's son Arjun Tendulkar needs no introduction as he is a pretty well-known face to the cricket-goers. Right when the fans are waiting for his entry into the national Indian team, news on Arjun has come that this 19-year-old lad has been picked for Rs 5 lakh by the Aakash Tigers Mumbai Western Suburb for the second season of the T20 Mumbai League. The bidding was said to be quite intense.
Arjun is a budding left-arm pacer and a batsman and he was earlier seen playing unofficial Tests for India-U19. Arjun was included in the all-rounder category with a base price of Rs 1 lakh. The team, North Mumbai Panthers, have bid him the highest among others i.e., Rs 5 lakh. T20 Mumbai's official Twitter page has confirmed the news and tweeted on the same. The season will start on May 14.
Let's wish the boy good luck as his name itself suggests, how much burden he is having on his shoulders, for being Sachin's son.
