Finally the Inter Board has taken action against officials who have completely messed up the results which costed 20 lives of students. The Intern Board has imposed Rs 5000 fine to examiner and suspended one scrutinizer.
The result of a student from Mancherial district was the biggest blunder. The student secured 99 marks in a subject but in the final memo, it was displayed as 00 marks. The Inter Board reckoned took these sort of errors on a serious note and punished the concerned people involved in it. Upon inquiry, the examiner is identified as Ramdevi and she belongs to Nayarana College of Shamshabad. She is fined the above mentioned amount. The College too suspended the examiner and added that such mistakes will not be repeated in the future.
The Secretary of Inter Board, Ashok Kumar informed all the measures are being taken for the re-valuation and re-verification. Over 56,000 students have applied for it and students need not panic and the process will be smooth and transparent, added Ashok Kumar.
