Young actress Sara Ali Khan, daughter of Saif Ali Khan, made her debut with Kedarnath and Simmba movies. The actress already earned a huge fan base for her pro acting skills and killer looks. This all might look like the star kid is having a smooth life. But, she says she struggled a lot with her body transformation before hitting audiences with these blockbusters.
Before entering the film industry, Sara weighed 96 kilos and was also suffering from PCOD (Polycystic ovary syndrome). PCOD is a hormonal problem in ladies that leads to easy and excessive weight gain. Sara has reportedly made sedulous efforts in losing weight and toning the body to get that ideal Bollywood bikini body.
Sara Ali Khan lived in Columbia for four years and there, she was inspired to take acting as her career. "I'm 96 kilos then. So, it was a bit difficult. Then it was the senior year of college in America itself that I lost the weight. Because of hormonal problem, it made it very hard for me to lose weight. So, as you can see, there is a level of delusion that was in me. I was confident, I was delusional," she added.
She said that instead of eating pizza, she had a protein shake and instead of chocolate, she took salads. Modifying her lifestyle has greatly benefitted her overall appearance. Also, she accessorized her daily routine with intense workouts and maintaining a disciplined life.
Apart from all these efforts, Sara also practiced Kathak, Yoga, Pilates to keep in shape. Earlier, on Karan Johar's popular chat show, Koffee with Karan, Sara had opened up about her PCOD condition and inspired many with her amazing story. On the work front, Sara is busy working on her third film the Love Aaj Sequel under Imtiaz Ali's direction.
