3-year-old locks his Dad's iPad for 48 years

Apple devices have always been successful and its approach is quite different from others. Apple is also one of the safest computing devices with the highest levels of data privacy and security. With the high watermark of quality, sophistication, technology, the extreme privacy levels also have some cons which are irreversible.

The device can be locked permanently if a wrong password is typed repeatedly. A Twitter user named Evan Osnos stated that his iPad has been locked after 3-year-old typed wrong password repeatedly and the picture says the device is locked for 48 years! All iOS devices when typed the wrong passcode, will lock for longer durations. But this case blew everyone's mind. Osnos' son tried repeatedly for so long that his iPad got locked for 25,536,442 minutes, which is 48 years.

Waiting 48 years for your iPad to function back normal doesn't make sense. Such a long duration is unimaginable for someone to wait too. Soon after his post, netizens gave hilarious responses -  "Next time just give the kid the passcode" wrote one user. Another comment says, "Time travel seems to be your best bet." "I'd say their 52nd birthday present is sorted, but it'll probably fix itself sometime in 2038," reads another funny comment.

In a case similar to this, one can connect their Apple device to a PC and open iTunes. Try restoring the last backup on your iOS device and wait for the installation to happen. Once the restoration is complete, you can use your iOS device normally.  Another option is that, get your iPhone or iPad into Recovery Mode and try to reset the device. If resetting isn't possible, then go into DFU mode and reset it as a new device. The con in this is, it will erase all your data on the device.
