Deepika Padukone has unveiled her wax statue today in London and you won't believe how real it looks. The statue looks as jaw-dropping as her real self. It looks beautifully brilliant and chic that one cannot take their eyes off the statue. It is a treat for her fans and they can now take as many selfies as they want next to Deepika.
The actress went live on social media and showed everyone what London Madame Tussauds have in store for her. She was accompanied by parents Prakash Padukone, Ujjala, Ranveer Singh and her in-laws.
Her outfit at IIFA Awards 2016 created a huge buzz back then and she opted the same apparel for the wax statue as well. It is a Sabyasachi Mukherjee creation and one of the actress's favourite outfit.
Deepika expressed her joy over the wax statue that, "It's an amazing feeling, to be honest. It's fun and exciting. And in a way, I think I feel a lot of gratitude as well when you give back to your fans". Also, Ranveer said, "Can I take her home?" Deepika responded to his wish, "Whenever you're here, shooting for 83 and you miss me too much, you can come here."
You got to admit the statue is pretty spot-on. The facial expressions, arched eyebrows, that smile, everything is so natural that even Deepika was stunned to look at it.
