Bollywood action hero, Akshay Kumar, made a recent public appearance at a marathon called the Lucknow leg of a nationwide Run4Niine. The event was conducted to create awareness of menstrual taboos. The actor was seen with a large group of female bikers, dearly called 'Biker Ranis'.
Akshay shared the pictures and event details on his social media account. The picture of lady bikers with the actor was highly progressive which received instant appreciation from viewers. He captioned the picture "Breaking stereotypes...at Run4Niine with these biking queens, Biker Rani, in Lucknow today".
This Run4Niine has majorly focused on bringing awareness on hygienic methods as 82 per cent menstruating women still engage in unhygienic and unsafe ways like using untidy clothes instead of sanitary napkins.
