'I'm Not Worthy of the Nobel Peace Prize,' says Imran Khan

The prestigious Nobel Peace Prize is only given to those who meet the certain nomination criteria. One should do the best work in fraternity and promotes peaceful territory.

A few days ago, Pakistan Minister Fawad Choudhry and some of the Imran Khan supporters have submitted the resolution in Pak National Assembly that Prime Minister Imran Khan should be awarded Nobel Peace Prize for behaving peacefully with India in the recent air strikes issue and for also showing goodwill gesture.

In fact, more than 300,000 people have signed online petitions asking to honour Imran Khan with Nobel prize.

However, Imran Khan responded on his Twitter by saying, "I am not worthy of the Nobel Peace Prize." He also said that "The person worthy of this would be the one who solves the Kashmir dispute according to the wishes of the Kashmiri people and paves the way for peace and human development in the subcontinent".

Right after IAF pilot Abhinandan Varthaman has been handed over to India, the hashtag "#NobelPeacePrizeForImranKhan" started trending in Pakistan on Twitter.
