Andhra Man Commits Suicide for Special Status in Delhi

A Andhra Man by name Arjun Rao (40) had committed suicide in New Delhi for the sake of 'special category status' to Andhra Pradesh.

Arjun's body was lying lifeless near-by Jaswanth Singh road footpath which is very near to Andhra Pradesh Bhavan in the national capital. The police who recovered the body, found a note written in Telugu and in this he claimed that he is ending his life for special status to AP.

As and when Chandrababu Naidu got to know about this incident, he expressed his condolence and solidarity to the family members of Arjun from the venue of 'Dharma Porata Deeksha.' The state government has announced Rs 20 Lakh ex-gratia to Arjun's family.

The AP CM also appealed to the youth of the state not to indulge in these sorts of activities and instead asked them to fight for the cause.
