The murder case of an NRI businessman and Express TV owner Jayaram, which's in headlines from last few days, has been transferred to the Hyderabad police from Andhra. The Banjara Hills police are now taking legal support to register the case and in the meanwhile, Jayaram's wife Padma Sri demanded the Hyderabad police to investigate into Sikha Chowdary's role in her husband's death.
The police authorities have already filed petition with Nandigama Court seeking the custody of Rakesh Reddy and Srinivas Reddy. They are also expected to interrogate Srinivas Reddy and Sikha over the case which is full of twists and turns.
Another crucial news making rounds is that a noted cricketer who played IPL (Indian Premier League) is said to have come under the scanner of police officials based on the call data of Sikha Chowdary. A day before Jayaram's murder, this cricketer was said to have visited Sikha's villa in Hyderabad. However, the police team which is investigating into it is yet to confirm cricketer's involvement.
Also, Jayaram reportedly received the last phone call from Sikha and the policemen have identified that Jayaram was at her residence till 7:30 PM, the day before his murder. Further investigation into the murder case would reveal more details about who all are involved. Sikha, who gave a TV interview recently, said she is ready to co-operate to Telangana police over the investigation.
