Pranab is ineligible for 'Bharat Ratna': KA Paul

Praja Shanthi Party chief KA Paul has made sensational statements by calling former President of India, Pranab Mukherjee ineligible for the 'Bharat Ratna' award.

Reacting to it, Paul said on behalf of his organization in America, they have filed criminal cases against Pranab and when he was in the country, summons were also sent to him. Paul questioned how can a person with criminal allegations be awarded 'Bharat Ratna' which is the highest civilian award in the country.

The Christianity preacher termed it as a Black day and also demanded that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should explain why Pranab was conferred 'Bharat Ratna.' 'Just because BJP has majority in the Lok Sabha, they can't give away civilian awards like their wish. Moreover Pranab is a RSS sympathizer. Former Lok Sabha speaker Balayogi also deserves 'Bharat Ratna.' But he is a Dalit and so he is ignored,' stated Paul.
