Autopsy: Indians who Fell from the Cliff In the US Were Drunk

The Indian couple Vishnu Viswanath and Meenakshi Moorthy, who died after falling from a cliff at California's Yosemite National Park in October 2018, were intoxicated during the incident, according to the reports of the autopsy.

Vishnu Viswanath and Meenakshi Moorthy were intoxicated with ethyl alcohol before falling from 800 feet from Taft point. Ethyl Alcohol is usually found in beverages like beer wine and hard liquor.

Though the investigators and coroner confirmed that they did not find any drugs in the dead bodies, they were not specific on the level of intoxication due to the condition of the bodies after the extreme fall.

This couple from Kerala got married in 2014 and they flaunted their adventure-seeking travels ever since on social media accounts. Vishnu's brother Jishnu said it appeared the couple fell from the cliff when they tried to take a picture. Their tripod was found set up at the steep cliff of Taft point, in the next morning.

They died of multiple injuries to the head, neck, chest, and abdomen.
