Just in 4 days of this hashtag's arrival, more than 52 lakh people have followed the trend. Being called a "Glow Up Challenge", this trend is drawing many celebrities to post their 2009 and 2019's picture and share a comment about it. But experts are busy discussing if this trend is right or not.
If used in the right way, any trend on the internet will be useful to at least a few persons. But actually in India, the #10YearChallenge is being used only to showcase the glamour by heroines and their fitness levels by our heroes. However some people on internet posted that they have put up weight in this 10 years, but doesn't mean their life is bad.
If this trend reflects development, growth, success and hard work, it will be good actually. But if it deals only with glamour and beauty, then it is not of use to any except celebrities popularising their own charisma. On the downside, already some photos uploaded as part of #10YearsChallenged are being used by cosmetics makers to showcase how the use of their products won't take away the glow in any person in 10 years.
By the time we are discussing about the two sides of this coin in this 5 minutes, almost 10,000 pictures are uploaded on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram regarding this #10YearsChallenge.
