Congress and Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) are enemies since decades due to ideological differences. We have witnessed war of words between leaders from both sides but then it is part and parcel of their thought process.
However, VHP has come forward and extended a special offer to Congress. If agreed to the conditions laid by VHP, the religious group is ready to support Congress party in the coming Lok Sabha elections.
Here is the twist, the condition put forward by VHP is construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya should be included in Congress manifesto for the polls. This statement is made by none other than VHP working president Alok Kumar.
As this remark trigger a row in the BJP and RSS, Alok tried to calm down the situation and made a fresh statement. He added that his statement is over-stretched and nothing is significant in it.
For a moment the political experts opined that all is not well with BJP, RSS and VHP. Never know what happens before the elections which are keenly anticipated.
