Swine Flu Hits Amit Shah

The national president of Bharatiya Janata Party Amit Shah, who was admitted to AIIMS New Delhi on Wednesday night is suffering from Swine Flu.

Around 9 PM yesterday, Amit Shah reached All Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi and he was soon admitted in the old private ward of the hospital. A team of doctors headed by AIIMS director Randeep Guleria have treated his ailment and he is expected to stay in hospital for next few days while the doctors are continuously monitoring his health condition.

The BJP president called off his planned schedules and reached hospital complaining about the chest congestion and breathing issues. Knowing about his ill-health condition, Union Railways Minister, Piyush Goyal paid a visit to Shah at the hospital.

"I have been diagnosed with swine flu for which the treatment is under way. I will recover soon with God's grace and good wishes from all of you," - Shah wrote to his followers and supporters on Wednesday night.

The Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, former Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje, other BJP leaders and Congress party also wished Amit Shah a speedy recovery.
