Tsunami hits Indonesia, 62 Dead

Indonesia is hit by tsunami that may have been caused by Anak Krakatoa volcano eruption and high tides around the full moon, said the disaster agency authorities.

In the preliminary report, at least 62 people have died, 584 are injured, 20 missing and the property loss is estimated to be huge.

The tsunami has affected Serang, Pandenglang, South Lampung and Serang which is on the very western tip of Java.

Authorities have warned tourists and locals to stay away from beaches around the Sunda Strait until further update.
