Modi as Chief Guest for Priyanka's Wedding?

The Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra and her boy friend Nick Jones, a noted singer and song writer from America, are set to get married in the first week of December. As per Hindu traditions, the wedding will take place at the grand Umaid Bhavan Palace in Jodhpur on 2nd December and on following day, the lovely couple  will become one as per Christian traditions.

Nick Jones has finished his commitments and all his shopping in New York and landed in India on Thursday evening. Priyanka welcomed him to India by posting a picture on Instagram and captioned it saying: 'Welcome home baby'.

The big fat wedding celebration of Priyanka and Nick will begin on 29th November and the five-day celebration include Mehendi function, Sangeet, bachelor bash and marriage.

According to some Bollywood reports, the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be invited to this wedding as the chief guest. Since Nick Jones has landed in India on Thursday, both Priyanka and Nick are expected to visit PMO in New Delhi to personally invite PM Modi. Earlier this year, Prime Minster Narendra Modi surprised one and all by attending grand wedding reception of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma in New Delhi. So, it remains to be seen if he will be able to make it to PeeCee's wedding as he's scheduled to visit Telangana for election campaigning around that time.

However, there is no official confirmation from Priyanka Chopra on whether she would be inviting Narendra Modi or not.

Apart from PM Modi, around 200 celebrities from various political parties, Hindi Film Industry and Hollywood were invited for the grand wedding of NickYanka, name labelled by their fans. After the wedding in Jodhpur, Nick and Priyanka will be hosting two grand receptions in Mumbai and Los Angeles, US.
